10 policy recommendations to unlock the potential of Europe’s creative industries

Milan 19/03/2015 - ECIA presented today, in a workshop organised by the Metropolitan City of Milan and moderated by Zelian, a 10-steps action plan to strengthen the future of the creative industries.

ECIA, the European Creative Industries Alliance is an open platform that brings together policy-makers and business support practitioners from 28 partner organisations and 12 countries. Its overall aim is to shape a community in Europe that actively supports creative industries as a driver for competitiveness, job creation and structural change by developing and testing better policies and tools for creative industries.

The project’s three year work were summarised in a final document: a 10 step action plan to enable cross-sectoral collaboration and access to finance.

The project was presented today in Milan in the framework of the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2015 in the workshop "Creative industries and their impact on economic growth" moderated by Erica Lo Buglio of Zelian, as an expert in sustainable development, stakeholder engagement and PPPs (Public Private Partnerships).
