EPIA, the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary in Italy.
EPIA 25th anniversary was celebrated in Rome, on the occasion of the General Assembly which took place on 18-19 March 2010 and was organised with the support and coordination of Zelian.
During the meeting, attended by over 200 people representing member companies, Ingmar Wilhelm of Enel Green Power was elected as new president.
Among the themes discussed the following day during the '5th workshop on market outlook', the role of the photovoltaic industry today more and more important in the landscape of energy supply.
