VinyLoop launches its White Paper on recycling

VinyLoop® has published a White Paper on the potential of recycling.

The White Paper aims at making producers, retailers, policy makers and public opinion aware of the potential of recycling, which can dramatically reduce the PVC environmental footprint, thus improving sustainability.

The document shows that VinyLoop® recycled PVC almost halves the primary energy demand, reducing it by 46% compared to the production of virgin PVC compound.

In addition, the recycled PVC (PVC-R) reduces by 39% the global warming potential and by 72% water consumption.

The VinyLoop® White Paper was presented at the ISWA (International Solid Waste Association) Congress in Florence, Italy, in September 2012.
